DAY 1. DEPART AUSTRALIA - ARRIVE IN BUENOS AIRES
Bienvenido a grand Buenos Aires. Meet your tour director and fellow travellers tonight for a welcome cocktail.


DAY 2. BUENOS AIRES
Visit Plaza de Mayo, the impressive Recoleta Cemetery - burial site of Eva Peron, La Boca district and the Colon Theatre. Tonight enjoy a tango lesson, followed by an exciting dinner show experience.  [B,D]

DAY 3. BUENOS AIRES
Enjoy a day at leisure to discover more of the city. Why not visit the amazing El Ateneo Grand Splendid bookshop, housed in a former theatre? [B]

DAY 4. BUENOS AIRES - RIO DE JANEIRO
Fly to buzzing Rio de Janeiro. We'll be staying right on Copacabana Beach! [B]


DAY 5. RIO DE JANEIRO
Enjoy a day at leisure to relax and soak up the atmosphere or begin exploring. Tonight we'll experience a traditional churrasco grill dinner at Fogo de Chao. [B,D]


DAY 6. RIO DE JANEIRO
Visit some of Rio's most famous sights, including Corcovado Hill, the Statue of Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain. The evening is at leisure. [B]


DAY 7. RIO DE JANEIRO - IGUAZU FALLS
Fly to spectacular Iguazu Falls. Our accommodation for the next 2 nights is right in the National Park, with the thundering falls on our doorstep. [B]


DAY 8. IGUAZU FALLS
Explore the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls, and stand on a platform suspended over the incredible Devil’s Throat to sense its incredible power. Warning - you will get wet! [B]


DAY 9. IGUAZU FALLS - LIMA
On the Brazilian side of the falls, we wander along the canyon path, enjoying the panoramic views. We also visit the Parque Das Aves. Set deep in the rainforest, it is home to more than 160 species of tropical birds, including toucans and macaws. Later this afternoon we fly to Lima, Peru's capital city. [B]


DAY 10. LIMA - PARACAS
From Lima we travel south to Paracas, a beach resort town on Peru's coast and home to a stunning National Reserve. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure to relax in the idyllic setting. [B]

DAY 11. PARACAS
Scenic flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines, a series of ancient geoglyphs in the middle of the Nazca Desert. In the afternoon visit the Paracas National Reserve, home to both incredible natural scenery and pre-Incan sites. [B]

DAY 12. PARACAS - LIMA
Explore the Ballestas Islands, home to many birds and animals, including the endangered Humboldt penguins and the Paracas Candelabra formation. After lunch, return to Lima. [B]


DAY 13. LIMA - CUSCO
Fly to Cusco, gateway to the amazing Sacred Valley. Afternoon walking tour includes the Cathedral of Santo Domingo and the Temple of the Sun, considered the most spectacular temple of the Incan empire. [B]


DAY 14. CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY
Travel into the incredible Sacred Valley, stopping to visit the impressive ruins and lively market of Pisac. Explore the town and ruins of Ollantaytambo for a taste of local life. Visit a local chicheria to taste guinea pig - the local delicacy! [B]


DAY 15. SACRED VALLEY - MACHU PICCHU
A magical day as we travel by Vistadome train through the Sacred Valley to the legendary Lost City of the Incas - Machu Picchu! In-depth guided tour before enjoying some time at leisure to explore further. [B,D]


DAY 16. MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO
Why not return to Machu Picchu for an optional second visit this morning before the crowds appear? Later we travel back to Ollantaytambo by train and visit Chinchero for a traditional weaving demonstration. Continue to Cusco by road. [B]


DAY 17. CUSCO
Explore the fascinating ruins of Sacsayhuaman and the ancient Incan baths at Tambomachay. [B]


DAY 18. CUSCO - LIMA
Fly back to Lima this morning. Our city tour includes the Plaza Mayor and the Larco Museum, which provides an overview of over 4,000 years of pre-Columbian Peruvian history. [B,D]


DAY 19. DEPART LIMA
Today we bid farewell to Peru and begin our journey home, via Santiago. [B]
