"We stayed here for four nights to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and could not have chosen a better place. From the moment we walked through the door we felt we were somewhere special. The Lodge building and décor is quite unique and luxurious. Our accommodation was in the Arrow Suite, which is spacious and beautifully furnished with wonderful views across the pool and vineyards to Lake Hayes and the mountains beyond. We spent the latter part of each afternoon just sitting, taking in the view and enjoying the wine and cheese delivered to our room. The staff were wonderful and most attentive, and the daily breakfast was everything we could want. We also indulged in the private dinner one night which was a culinary delight. This is one place that we would give a six-star rating if we were able to."
