Day 1: Arrive Tokyo

Arrive in bustling Tokyo. Check in to your hotel for the next three nights.

Day 2: Tokyo 

Spend the morning exploring Meiji Shrine, impressive Tokyo Tower, the beautiful Imperial East Garden, and Ginza. Return to the hotel on your own for an afternoon free at your leisure.

Day 3: Tokyo – Mount Fuji – Hakone – Tokyo

Today you travel towards majestic Mount Fuji, visiting the 5th Station and Hakone Ropeway. Relax on a magnificent Lake Ashi cruise before returning to Tokyo.

Day 4: Tokyo – Takayama

Pack a small bag as your main luggage will be transferred to Kyoto. Make your way to Shinagawa Station and take the bullet train to Nagoya, changing to an express train to Takayama.

Day 5: Takayama – Shirakawago

Enjoy time to explore Takayama at your leisure until it is time to take the bus from Takayama to Shirakawago. Shirakawago is home to the traditional gasshō-zukuri buildings.

Day 6: Shirakawago – Kanazawa 

Make your way to the Bus Terminal and transfer to Kanazawa. Enjoy the afternoon exploring the ancient sites at your own leisure..

Day 7: Kanazawa – Kyoto – Nara – Kyoto 

Take an express train to Kyoto where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Travel to Nara to explore Todaji Temple and feed the friendly bowing deer in the Park. Return to Kyoto for the night.

Day 8: Kyoto

After breakfast you will enjoy a full day tour of historical Kyoto, taking in the wonderous temples and sights.

Day 9: Kyoto 

Enjoy a free day to explore Kyoto at your own pace. Why not explore the traditional tea houses in Gion and maybe even see a Geisha at work?

Day 10: Kyoto – Mount Koya 

Take an overnight bag with you as your main luggage is transferred to Osaka. Transfer by train to Shin-Imamiya, then on to Gokurakubashi. On arrival you will travel by cable car to Mount Koya.

Day 11: Mount Koya – Osaka

Transfer back to Gokurakubashi by cable car, admiring the spectacular views. You will take a train from there back to Shin Imamiya, then transfer to Osaka, making your way to the hotel.

Day 12: Depart Osaka

After breakfast the day is free at your leisure until it is time to transfer to the Airport for your onward flight..
