Meet the Team

Kylie Leadbeatter - Director

Kylie has worked in the travel industry since January 1990, and is a proud director of  italktravel Warners Bay. Her training has been from entrance level which has provided her with extensive knowledge of the retail travel industry. She has travelled to Thailand, Vietnam, Bali, Singapore, New Zealand, Fiji, Vanuatu, Tahiti, Hawaii, USA, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya & Tanzania, UK, Europe and Mauritius.

Kelly Wicks - Director

Kelly is a Director of italktravel Warners Bay. Having been in the industry for over 20 years Kelly has travelled to most corners of the globe including 12 months living and working in the travel industry in the United Kingdom. Kelly loves to share her first-hand knowledge and experiences which has led to her establishing a highly professional, first class travel agency. Some of her adventures have taken her to Europe, Egypt, Turkey and the Greek Islands, Thailand, Cambodia, Bali, Hawaii, Mainland USA, Fiji, Vanuatu, Mexico, Vietnam and Africa.

Abbey Barnier - Travel Agent

Abbey started with our company in 2012 as a trainee, and has successfully completed a William Angliss Travel Traineeship.  Abbey is a cruising guru, having travelled on several cruises herself and having spent many hours visiting ships when they come to the nearby ports of Sydney and Newcastle.  Since working with us Abbey has cruised through the Pacific Islands and travelled to Bali, New Zealand, and domestically to Kangaroo Island, Adelaide, on The Ghan to Alice Springs and Ayers Rock. 

Amanda Potter - Travel Agent

Amanda works permanent part-time in our office and also is a school groups mobile consultant when she is not working as a Travel Teacher at Newcastle TAFE.  Amanda has an intimate knowledge of airline systems, and has travelled extensively, recently having been to USA, Thailand and a mission trip to an orphanage in the Philippines.
